Kalahari Rose

"In the driest whitest stretch of pain's infinite desert, I lost my sanity and found this rose." ~ Rumi

Kalahari Rose is a Southern-African professional belly dancer and instructor based in Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota. She charms and electrifies audiences with her radiance and unbridled self-expression through the sacred Egyptian art of Raqs Sharqi.

She is also a neta (guide) who shows the way for each person to discover their own nata (inner dancer, Sanskrit).

When she’s not shimmying in a coin belt or occupied with snake arms you can find her working towards her counseling degree. She also loves to slow down and appreciate the creativity of local chefs and winemakers. A true foodie at heart, her favourite way to unwind is by enjoying fresh, vibrant flavours and a glass of wine (preferably on a sunny patio).
